Verizon Wireless started rolling out Marshmallow based VS98626A monthly security update for LG G4. The update carries latest security patch for month of June 2016 along multiple improvements and bug fixes. The LG G4 users’s with Verizon devices are going to receive the firmware update anytime soon as it’s an OTA update, but first you need to do some early preparation we mentioned below. We will update the KDZ soon to manually flash the VS98626A on Verizon LG G4 using LG Flashtool.

How to update Verizon LG G4 to Android 6.0 Marshmallow VS98626A firmware
This is the first and preferably the most easiest method to update your Verizon LG G4 on VS98626A firmware. All you need is just your device to download the firmware file if available and then the phone will ask you to install the updates now or later. Your device must be stock un-rooted condition because rooted device will not able to receive the OTA updates then you have to un-root your device or you have to wait till the manual update process is started. To check whether your device is eligible for OTA Firmware update, unlock your device & navigate to
Settings >> About device >> Software update >> Check for updates
This will require a working internet connection to connect to the LG servers. You will receive a notification about the latest firmware availability click install to flash the firmware or tap install later to flash later. Just flash the latest VS98626A firmware on your Verizon LG G4 and enjoy the goodies of latest firmware.
