Update Sprint Nexus 6P on N4F261 January Security update

The update brings hand full of improvements over the previous update along latest security patch for the ongoing month of January. The security patch level bumps to January 5 and build N4F261, the roll out has begun and you would be hearing the notification knock anytime now. The update seems to be released on time as carrier bonded devices always took some delay to release the new firmware updates. If you are getting impatient to update your device on latest firmware then give a check to the OTA update method,

Go to Settings >> About device >> System update and check for the software updates.

The Nexus 6P is an amazing device with a huge 5.7 inches AMOLED display with resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels at 518ppi, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. Under the hood a powerful hardware specs including Snapdragon 810 processor, Adreno 430 GPU along 3GB of RAM on board and upto 128GB internal storage. The optics level is also great, on the back 12.3 MegaPixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture and 8MP selfie shooter on front with the same f/2.4 aperture.

Download the N4F261 update and transfer it on the device storage.

Now reboot your device in the recovery mode.

Apply update from internal storage and choose the download N4F261 zip.

Start the installation process and wait for it to complete.
