T-mobile started rolling out latest security updates to Nexus devices including Nexus 4, 5, 6, 7 & 9. All Nexus devices except Nexus 6 and nexus 7 will be got an update with build number LMY48P, while Nexus 6 with LYZ28K, and the Nexus 7 with LMY48P. All these updates are rolling out via OTA but if you are unable to access the OTA update method you can follow our below guide to manually install these updates on your Nexus device. In the latest update Google has worked a lot to make your device secure and protected against vulnerability attacks. This is the second security update after LMY48I with enhanced improvements to fix the Stagefright issue, Nexus user’s with their devices having unlocked bootloader can immediately flash the latest factory image on their Nexus devices manually using Platform-tools in Android SDK. Settings >> About device >> Software update >> Check for updates

- Extract the LMY48M factory image file you have downloaded earlier.
- Turn of your device & reboot into bootloader mode either by typing the following command using Platform-tools/ADB.
