Samsung has already released the third beta Nougat update for it’s Galaxy S7 Edge G935F. The build number for the update is G935FXXU1ZPKK and we have posted a guide on the odin installation procedure here. In case if you don’t succeed in Odin installation you’ll be glad to know that TWRP flahsable pre-rooted G935FXXU1ZPKK is now available, all you need is a TWRP recovery to be installed on your device flash the firmware.

The G935FXXU1ZPKK firmware is modified and rooted by an XDA dev ‘geiti94’ he said that no major changes has been made except removing some un-necessary bloatware, so you can enjoy the bloat free ROM on your device, you can also see the ROM details below. The process is very simple as we have already posted guides on the AOSP builds for several other devices, you can have an overview of them and in this tutorial we are going to follow the same process. How to install Nougat Beta 3 G935FXXU1ZPKK on Galaxy S7 Edge G935F via TWRP recovery

Before you Begin:

Disclaimer: This tutorial includes multiple operations including Custom Rom. Follow the guide on your own risk, we are not responsible if you brick or damage your device.

Pre-requisite:

Please ensure your phone battery should be charged at minimum 80%

Install latest USB drivers for your device necessary for PC-Android connection (if your device is not detected by the computer)

Download Samsung USB drivers,

Download and install latest TWRP on Galaxy S7 Edge or visit our recovery section and choose your device model.

Backup your important data by creating a Nandroid back up or follow this guide to create a Nandroid Backup of your device

This will create a backup of your complete device including current firmware, if something goes wrong you can restore your previous firmware

Process to install Nougat Beta 3 G935FXXU1ZPKK on Galaxy S7 Edge G935F via TWRP recovery

Download Nougat Beta 3 G935FXXU1ZPKK for Galaxy S7 Edge G935F from the link provided below.

Connect your device to your PC and copy the ROM zip file on your device storage.

Turn of your device and boot into TWRP custom Recovery menu by the hardware keys combination or using any third party app (Mostly found in Play store).

Once your device enters into TWRP recovery, create a Nandroid backup of your device or follow our guide to create a Nandroid backup (this will create a backup of your complete device including current firmware) if something goes wrong you can restore your previous firmware.

Once the Nandroid process completes, tap on “Wipe” and then swipe the slider from left to right to begin the wipe process (This will reset your device to factory)

Now it’s the time to flash the G935FXXU1ZPKK firmware on your device. Choose install and navigate to the folder in which you have copied the ROM zip file

Swipe across the slider to confirm install, wait for a few minutes till the file is completely installed on your device.

Now repeat the above step for the installation of Model and bootloader zip.

Once completed reboot your device.

Note: If your device stuck at boot logo or taking longer then 7-10 minutes then follow this guide to fix the bootloop issue
