Google provided Android N the latest firmware available till date for the Nexus device. The Android N updates were released in the form of Developer preview images and also the users registered with the beta program received OTA updates on their devices. The schedule for the Android N for other devices will be released but still the final date is not mentioned.
However if you want to experience the latest firmware on your device then you must have a Nexus device or you have to wait for the final release for all the devices. The third party developers may also work on the firmware and made it available for other devices. What if we say you can install the Android 7.0 N features on your Android device running on Android Lollipop or Marshmallow?
Yes that’s now possible, thanks to Developers, they have developed an Xposed Module called Android N-ify, the Android N-ify module will let you enjoy the Android N features like “Double tap Recent Apps to switch to the last opened app” and “setting dashboard summaries”. Currently these two features are working but the developers have think a lot to get more out of it and below we have compiled list of features that will be available soon in the updates.
Download Android N-ify Xposed module
Features to be fixed (curently broken)
