Now in this guide we are using the same tutorial to flash the Google’s latest operating system available till dates on your LG Optimus G E975. The stock firmware release for various devices is still in the waiting list so this is the best opportunity to get the glimpse of latest firmware on your LG Optimus G.
The ROM includes all the features of Stock Android 6.0 Marshmallow but remember it’s not an official release. Overall the Android 6.0 M is smooth and major features are working fine but as it’s an initial build so you may experience some bugs but don’t hesitate just go ahead and flash the Android 6.0 M firmware ROM on your LG Optimus G E975.

Please ensure your phone battery should be charged at minimum 80%
Download and install latest USB drivers
Your device should have a working TWRP or CWM recovery installed in your LG Optimus G E975.
Download Android 6.0 Lollipop build specified for your LG Optimus G E975 from the below provided links
Download Google Apps (Gapps)
Process to install Android 6.0 Marshmallow on LG Optimus G E975
Connect your device to your PC using USB cable and transfer the downloaded Android 6.0 M ROM zip along Gapps.zip onto your device internal storage.
Turn of your device and boot into custom Recovery menu by the hardware keys combination or using any third party app (Mostly found in Play store).
Once your device enters into recovery, create a Nandroid backup of your device or follow our guide to create a Nandroid backup (this will create a backup of your complete device including current firmware) if something goes wrong you can restore your previous firmware.
Once the Nandroid process completes, navigate and select wipe data/factory reset.(this will erase your data)
Now it’s the time to flash the Android 6.0 Marshmallow ROM on your device. Choose “install zip from sdcard” >> choose zip from sdcard & navigate to the folder in which you have copied the custom ROM.zip file and select it.
Select “yes” to confirm install, wait for a few minutes till the file is completely installed in your device.
Once completed, reboot your device.
