Enable USB Debugging on your device (Settings >> Developer Options >> USB debugging)
Your phone battery should be charged minimum 80%
Download LG USB drivers
Download and Extract adb fastboot
Process to unlock bootloader on LG V20
Step 1- Connect your device to PC using USB cable.
Step 2- Open the adb-fastboot folder and inside adb-fastboot folder, press SHIFT and Right-Click on an empty space inside the same folder.
Step 3- Click on Open command prompt here as shown and enter the following command to reboot your device into bootloader mode.
adb reboot bootloader
Step 4- You device will reboot to bootloader mode then type the following command in the command window to unlock the bootloader
fastboot oem unlock
Step 5- Confirm the bootloader unlock.
Step 6- Your device bootloader will be unlocked and will wipe all the data present on the device storage.
Step 7- Now reboot your device by typing the following command,
