Download Official CM13 Nightly for Moto G 1st Gen [Marshmallow]



In this guide you will be able to download and install Official CyanogenMod 13 Nightly ROM on Moto G 1st Gen (falcon). This is first official CM13 Nightly update released for Moto G 1st Gen but many other devices including Moto X 2nd Gen and LG devices have already tasted the sweetness of Marshmallow via official CM13 build. Official CM13 for Moto G 1st Gen is pretty stable and can be used as daily drivers so what are you waiting for just go ahead and install Official CM13 Nightly ROM on your Moto G 1st Gen. We are going to follow the same process we have already posted for other devices, just go ahead and follow the below instructions.

How to install Official CM13 Nightly on Moto G 1st Gen

Before you Begin:

Process to install official CyanogenMod 13 Nightly ROM on Moto G 1st Gen

Connect your device to your PC and copy the both ROM and Google apps zip files onto your device storage.

Turn of your device and boot into TWRP custom Recovery menu by the hardware keys combination or using any third party app (Mostly found in Play store).

Once your device enters into TWRP recovery, create a Nandroid backup of your device or follow our guide to create a Nandroid backup (this will create a backup of your complete device including current firmware) if something goes wrong you can restore your previous firmware.

Once the Nandroid process completes, tap on “Wipe” and then swipe the slider from left to right to begin the wipe process (This will reset your device to factory)

Now it’s the time to flash the Marshmallow firmware on your device. Choose install and navigate to the folder in which you have copied the CM13 Nightly zip file

Swipe across the slider to confirm install, wait for a few minutes till the file is completely installed in your device.

Once done with the above step, now apply the same process with the installation of Gapps.

Wait for the installation process to complete.

Once completed Reboot your device.

    I updated my custom ROM cm 12.1 and it is now cm 13.0 i.e android 6.0, but after installing this ROM my inbuilt contact app continuously showing “contacts list is being updated” and also I am unable to see any call log.Please suggest the fix for this asap.
