The good thing about this guide is that you can now download the two Marshmallow firmware files, one is the Flashtool flashable KDZ file and the other is TWRP recovery flashable file. So in this guide you would be able to flash Android 6.0 Marshmallow D85130D firmware on T-Mobile LG G3. The OTA can also hit your device anytime soon, but first you need to do some early preparation we mentioned below. How to update T-Mobile LG G3 to Android 6.0 Marshmallow
This is the first and preferably the most easiest method to update your T-Mobile LG G3 to Android 6.0 D85130D Marshmallow. All you need is just your device to download the firmware file if available and then the phone will ask you to install the updates now or later. Your device must be stock un-rooted condition because rooted device will not able to receive the OTA updates then you have to un-root your device or you have to wait till the manual update process is started. To check whether your device is eligible for OTA Firmware update, unlock your device & navigate to
Settings >> About device >> Software update >> Check for updates
This will require a working internet connection to connect to the LG servers. You will receive a notification about the latest firmware availability click install to flash the firmware or tap install later to flash later. Just flash the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow firmware on your T-Mobile LG G3 and enjoy the goodies of latest firmware.

Install Android 6.0 Marshmallow D85130D firmware file on T-Mobile LG G3 via TWRP recovery
Download the D85130D firmware zip
Connect your device to PC and copy the D85130D firmware zip file on your device storage.
Now Turn of your device and boot into TWRP custom Recovery menu by the hardware keys combination or using any third party app (Mostly found in Play store).
Once your device enters into TWRP recovery, create a Nandroid backup of your device or follow our guide to create a Nandroid backup (this will create a backup of your complete device including current firmware) if something goes wrong you can restore your previous firmware.
Once the Nandroid process completes, navigate and select wipe data/factory reset.(this will erase your data)
Now it’s the time to flash the Stock Marshmallow firmware on your device. Choose Install >> Navigate to the folder where you have copied the Marshmallow zip file and select it.
Swipe the slider to confirm install.
Wait for the installation process to complete. The first boot up may take 5-7 minutes.
